Charles Spurgeon was a late nineteenth century British Baptist preacher. Widely regarded as "The Prince of Preachers," Spurgeon pastored the congregation at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London for 38 years. Spurgeon continues to this day to be a favorite among Christians, across both denominational and generational boundaries.
